WISE Industry Pulse Survey

Dear Friends:

Women In Sports and Events (WISE) is on a mission and we need your help.

As the leading voice and resource for professional women in the industry, WISE has as its top priority a mandate to move women further and faster into the higher echelons of the sports and events industry. In order to succeed, we ask individuals within our business to take part in surveys to help us better understand the needs of women working in the industry. The results equip us with valuable data that help us to create new programs and valuable media reports. Today we launch the second phase of our WISE Industry Pulse Survey Series.

Just a small investment of your time and attention right now can make a huge difference for you and others working in the sport industry. Our first survey in 2005 focused on the challenges individuals faced in the industry. We found that many women needed more resources to help them answer tough questions and to gain insight from those who came before them. As a result, we created our mentor program called WISE Within.

Today’s survey is designed to gain a better understanding of the organizations that support and reward the efforts of women in our industry. The results will help WISE establish key data that will set standards for companies to follow.

Please click here to begin the survey. The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

Since its inception in 1993, WISE has represented women in the industry from entry level to C level, from the major professional sports leagues to consumer packaged goods to the media. Today WISE provides opportunities for women throughout the country to gain valuable insight into industry trends and to discuss career-related issues with leaders in our business. Headquartered, in New York City, WISE has a network of regional chapters in Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Los Angeles, San Francisco/Bay Area, and Washington D. C. Please be sure to check out our website at www.wiseworks.org for more information.

In order to encourage as much participation in the survey as possible on the part of men and women, please share this survey with co-workers, friends and colleagues who work in the sport industry by passing along this e-mail.
